It was a great showing for Damian Brennan and Ryder Wright who each were marked 87 points. It was the second round win for Brennan, who won Round 4 with an 89-point ride. It was the first round win for Wright after two second-place finishes earlier in the rodeo.
Brennan says that round win earlier in the rodeo loosened him up and gave him the confidence boost he needed.
“Gave me heaps of confidence to go out and get that round win. It makes it easier.”
Brennan has jumped to No. 6 in the World and is third in the average. Wright is No. 5 in the PRCA standings and is 10th in the average.
