Cullen Telfer

It came down to the wire, but thanks to a great month of September, Cullen Telfer is heading to his first NFR. Telfer earned nearly $15,000 in the final month of the season to lock in the final spot in Bull Riding.

Here is a look back at the top moments from Telfer’s season.

BIGGEST PAYDAYS

45th George Paul Memorial, $10,834

Telfer earned the second most of any Bull Rider at the George Paul Memorial thanks to two strong rides. Telfer opened the rodeo with an 87.5-point ride which tied for fourth. Telfer was certainly consistent at the rodeo as he was marked 87.5 points in the Finals to take second in the round and the average. Sage Kimzey would take first place in both as the only rider to have a better weekend than Telfer.

Kitsap Stampede Xtreme Bulls, $9,675

Telfer ended the month of August with a bang at the Kitsap Stampede Xtreme Bulls. He would take home second place with an 88.5-point ride on Red Lipstick. The second-place finish earned him nearly $10,000 and was vital in him qualifying for the NFR.

HIGHEST MARKED RIDES

New Mexico State Fair & Xtreme Bulls, 90 Points

The only 90-point ride for Telfer on the season came at the New Mexico State Fair & Xtreme Bulls where he was marked 90 on the dot after going the full eight seconds on Wicked Faze. The ride won Telfer the rodeo and earned him over $6,000.

Sheridan Wyo Rodeo, 89 Points

Telfer’s second-best ride came at the Sheridan Wyo Rodeo where he was marked 89 points to place fourth at what proved to be a great day of Bull Riding all around. Telfer’s finish earned him just under $2,000.

NOTABLE WINS

Cowtown Rodeo Xtreme Bulls, $5,048

Telfer took home a nice payday at the Cowtown Rodeo Xtreme Bulls after a second-place finish in both Round 2 and the Average after an 88.5-point ride.

Sisters Rodeo Xtreme Bulls, $5,463

Telfer had strong showings throughout the season at Xtreme Bull events and the Sisters Rodeo Xtreme Bulls were no different. Telfer took the rodeo with an 86-point ride to win over $5,000.
