Colten Fritzlan on what it was like to compete, and win, in the PBR for the first time

After this past weekend, there are now 10 bull riders who have won their PBR premier series debut because 2020 NFR Average Champion Colten Fritzlan added his name to the list.

Fritzlan was 3-for-3 in Okeechobee, Florida and was marked 86.5 points or better on all three rides. His 260.25 points on aggregate, edged out world No. 1 Cooper Davis, who had 258.25 points. Fritzlan and Davis were the only two cowboys to cover all three bulls.

“Definitely something I’ll remember for the rest of my life and hey, we’ll just keep the momentum going,” he said. “My confidence has remained at an all-time high (since the NFR in December).

Fritzlan won almost $24,000 for his victory and is now No. 5 in the PBR World Standings.
