Coleman Proctor and Logan Medlin are Gunning for Rodeo Austin Win

Coleman Proctor and Logan Medlin are heading into the playoffs after taking the lead in the Long Round of Rodeo Austin. They stopped the clock at 4.1 seconds on Monday night.

“Things have been going our way pretty good. We both got a couple of great horses and Heisman has been working really great for me, allowing me to get the good starts, which are so crucial in winter buildings,” Coleman said.

Coleman also says that that is what they hope for after practice, is to make runs like they did in Austin. As far, as partners go, Coleman and Proctor get along well and have a positive outlook on the sport no matter the outcome.

“Any time you rope with Coleman you can’t help but be positive. It’s good for me too, I may sometimes let myself get a little too serious but Coleman doesn’t let it get that way and it’s just a lot of fun to rope with him,” Proctor said.

Coleman has finished second at Rodeo Austin before and he is looking forward to having the opportunity to take home and win and more importantly, the Rodeo Austin branding iron.
