Cole Reiner took control of the bareback riding with 87.5 points on Tuesday night and going into the weekend, the 2020 Resistol Rookie of the Year still leads the Long Round.
“I’ve just been carrying a lot of momentum off of the last week in Houston,” Reiner said. “I’ve won a lot of money this week and I want to keep winning some money.”
Winning the Long Round in Austin comes with a check of more than $5,000, which would bolster Reiner’s strong start to 2022 as he sits in the Top 10 in the PRCA World Standings.
