Cole Franks Tops Austin Leaderboards Aboard Beutler & Son Rodeo’s Amped Up

The Texas bareback rider made a monster 89-point ride to kick off Rodeo Austin.

The No. 9 bareback rider in the World, Cole Franks, had been excited all week for his Rodeo Austin matchup and it paid off in a big way. He put an 89-point score on the board on the young horse of Beutler & Son Rodeo’s, Amped Up.

“It’s awesome. Right when you see it you’re excited and you kind of carry that excitement all through your week until you get here. And everything happened pretty fast today, getting here, everything, getting ready. And then the horse was fast and bucked and it was a lot of fun,” Franks said.

This has Frank sitting in the No. 1 spot and looking at coming back to the Short Round.
