Clayton Biglow’s California Roll Continues with Clovis Rodeo Win

Clayton Biglow has big success come his way in his home state of California when he won the Clovis Rodeo. An 87.5-point ride on C5 Rodeo’s She-La added over $10,000 to the 2019 World Champion’s 2023 season earnings.

“I had one of the better ones for sure, seven-year-old mare of C5’s named She-La. I’d seen a couple videos of her and she looked like a lot of fun. I knew I had a good shot,” Biglow said.

She-la was a horse with a lot of try and Biglow said he just tried to pick her up and by the end of the eight seconds it was a lot of fun.

Biglow had to beat the benchmark of 86.5 set by rookie Keenan Hayes earlier in the week, and did so in the final performance. In that same performance, Caleb Bennett was 87 points to take second in the rodeo.

This win has pushed Biglow to No. 5 in the PRCA World Standings and it has momentum swinging his way as he heads to Guymon, Oklahoma and then back to Redding, California.
