Clayton Biglow Takes First Two Rounds of Bracket 5 in San Antonio

It has been a perfect start for the 2021 San Antonio Champion, Clayton Biglow. Biglow has now won the first two rounds of Bracket 5 with an 86-point ride in Round 1 and an 87.5-point ride in Round 2.

Biglow split Round one with Mason Clements who matched his 86-point ride. The pair earned $2,250 a piece after the win.

In Round 2 Biglow was the solo-winner of the round with his 87.5-point ride on Night Delta, a horse he has history with.

“When he jumps in the air he gives you a lot of time to get back to the front. She’s a great horse... I’ve been on her twice and I knew what I was up against and I was super happy to have her,” Biglow said of the matchup.

Biglow has now earned $4,750 and has locked in his spot in the Semifinals even with Round 3 of Bracket 5 yet to take place.

Dean Thompson and Dantan Bertsch placed second in Round 2 with 84-point rides each and will need another check in Round 3 to guarantee their spot in the Semifinals in Fort Worth.

With Mason Clements failing to earn a check in the Round 2, he has yet to lock in a spot, but if he cashes a check in the third round he will move on.
