The Will Rogers Stampede takes place in Claremore, Oklahoma, a town that 20,000 people call home.
Ashley May describes it as a small town with big amenities. It is close enough to Tulsa for travel and more but she prefers the thriving downtown and small town feel. With four museums to explore in the quaint Oklahoma town, it is the perfect stop in between rodeos.
“Rodeo week is always a really good time in Claremore,” May says.
The Will Rogers Stampede has claimed the best Small Rodeo in America a record setting six times but now, they are now a medium sized rodeo with big expectations.
