In sit down interview with 5x National Finals Rodeo Qualifier and reigning World Champion Barrel Racer, Kassie Mowry, she spoke about her success this winter and the great horsepower she has under her this year.
During the Texas Swing alone, Mowry picked up $14,300 in Fort Worth, $7,878 in San Antonio, $73,000 in Houston, and $14,010 in San Angelo to land her first in the WPRA World Standings currently.
Mowry has been praised for her ability to enter rodeos strategically and making her runs count versus hitting the road hard all year long. Additionally, she accredits the great horsepower she has under her including her well known gelding Jarvis, along with her other gelding Will who she ran at some of the Texas rodeos earlier this year.
Already, Mowry is off to a phenomenal start to her 2025 season with hopes of making it back to Las Vegas to defend her World Champion title.
