The two top bull riders in the PRCA World Standings just happen to be traveling partners and best friends, Stetson Wright and Ky Hamilton.
Both Wright and Hamilton look forward to Reno. Hamilton says it is like an old school rodeo that has big money.
Hamilton recently switched some things up in his game plan and that included the decision to not wear a helmet. Wright says he can’t tease him too much because he has been winning so it is working.
“I’d been tossing up about taking the helmet off for a while and I just decided to do it. I felt like I could see what was going on a lot better and it’s been working out so I’m going to keep doing it,” Hamilton said.
With the possibility of getting on almost 30 head over the next two weeks, Wright’s summer run is busy as always. The traveling duo will hit anywhere from 75-100 rodeos and rack up 60,000-80,000 miles on their quest for Gold Buckles.
