Cash Wilson Cashes in at the San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo and Advances to Finals

From the qualifiers to the Finals, Cash Wilson has had a long road to the Finals in San Antonio. On Thursday he was marked 88 points to win the first Semifinal. Wilson had history with his draw and knew he had a great opportunity for a big score.

“That was a great horse. I got on here at Cheyenne. It’s usually in Bareback riding. That sucker bucks, I knew if I did my job it would work out.”

In their first matchup Pete Carr Pro Rodeo’s Pretty Woman bested him out of the gate, something Wilson learned from on this ride.

“Last time I got on that horse I got beat out of the shoot and that was the gameplan. If I got a good two-jump markout and stayed ahead of him it was gonna work out.”

Wilson advanced along with Stetson and Ryder Wright, Ben Andersen, and Damian Brennan out of the first Semifinal.
