Carl McKenttrick Talks All Things Arcadia All-Florida Championship Rodeo

The Annual Arcadia All-Florida Championship Rodeo began in 1928 and they joined the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association in 1973. It was originally a rodeo for local ranchers before it became a PRCA rodeo sought out by professional rodeo athletes.

It has earned the nickname the Granddaddy of ‘Em All. Arcadia is one of many towns that hosts professional rodeos in the heart of Florida ranching country. One thing that makes Arcadia’s rodeo special is that they team up with Frontier Rodeo.

“When you team up with Heath Stewart and Tom and the whole gang there with Jerry Stewart and Frontier Rodeo Company, you know, they’re just the best of the best for obvious reasons,” Carl McKettrick.

The 94th Arcadia All-Florida Championship Rodeo is March 10-13 with all afternoon performances that will be on The Cowboy Channel and The Cowboy Channel Plus.
