For the third straight time, Caleb Bennett was the bareback riding champion at Rodeo Austin. On Saturday, he did it with 87 points on South Suds of Beutler & Son.
“It feels awesome, to three-peat here, to be in front of this crowd, the great people of Austin, to be here rodeoing, doing what I love, wouldn’t have it any other way,” Bennett said.
All three of Bennett’s rides at Rodeo Austin were marked 85.5 points or higher and he won a total of $15,604. Bennett entered the weekend on the outskirts of the Top 20 in the PRCA World Standings, but will likely move up several spots following the win.
