Kansas cowboy JR Stratford has qualified for his first National Finals Rodeo at 20-years-old as he occupies the No. 12 spot in the PRCA World Standings.

Stratford ended his 2021 season in 48th place and has brought his A-game in 2022 to claim his rightful place in the Top 15.

With numerous championship titles under his belt, Stratford will challenge the best of the best as the Finals are right around the corner and will take place under the bright lights of Las Vegas.

San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo, $22,250

Stratford made a statement early in the season as he pulled in over $22,000 at the San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo after placing first in all three Rounds of Bracket 5 to then move on and claim the No. 2 spot in the Finals.

Red Bluff Round-Up, $7,304

A 90-point ride at the Red Bluff Round-Up on Big Stone Rodeo Inc’s War Cry locked Stratford into the No.1 spot on the leader board and earned the cowboy a check of $7,304.

Silver State Stampede, 90.5 points

Stratford turned in his highest marked ride of the season at the Silver State Stampede with a 90.5 point ride on Championship Pro Rodeo’s Flat Liner to take second place.

Sheridan Wyo Rodeo, $6,917

86 points on Sankey Pro Rodeo & Phenom Genetics’ Cash Is King earned Stratford $6,917 and a Championship Title at the Sheridan Wyo Rodeo.

Livingston Roundup Rodeo, $6,181

Stratford added an additional $6,181 to his earnings with a win at the Livingston Roundup Rodeo as he turned in an 88.5-point ride on Silver Creek Pro Rodeo’s Simply Irresistible
