Bryce Jensen has made his way to the top of the Resistol Rookie Standings in bull riding, earning $55,056 so far this year to bring him over $11,000 ahead of the second place contender.
A strong winter and spring run proved highly beneficial for Jensen, with notable performances including a payday of over $7,000 in Santa Maria and $4,913 at the Manti, UT Xtreme Bulls, two of his most recent highlights.
The young 20 year old says he is excited to hit the road this summer and compete at many of the rodeos he could not get into while on his permit. His plan is to stay focused on the fundamentals of bull riding, aiming to keep the momentum going all the way to the bright lights of Las Vegas and a spot at the National Finals Rodeo later this year.
