BryAnna Haluptzok makes the first sub-15.00 second run at Rodeo Austin to take over the lead after just two performances. It is a 14.97 that took her to the top of the leaderboard with a 15.02 being the next fastest time.
“You know, after Houston, we had a little bit of rough go and I just knew that I needed to ride better. And here, with the big blue walls, I knew he wouldn’t run past a barrel. So I just had to ride as hard as I could and he just worked great,” she said.
Haluptzok and her equine partner, Flash, are getting more and more solid as the 8-year-old horse that came off the track was on the rodeo road for the first time just last year.
The duo leads the way in the barrel racing with nine performances left in Austin.
