Brush Minton made a 10.0-second run in Round 1 of Reno Rodeo and he bested that with an 8.3 in Round 2. That 8.3 has him tied for the Go-Round win and sitting fifth in the average to unofficially be making it back to the Short Go as of now.
“It feels good. It’s been a little rough lately but that’s a good run to start out the fourth run,” Minton said.
Minton has to wait out one more round of slack and one last performance. However, he is currently the No. 9 ranked tie-down roper in the PRCA World Standings and it looks like he will be adding to his 2023 earnings at Reno Rodeo.
