The National Western Stock Show Rodeo came to an end yesterday, and one contestant took center stage for a second time.

Brody Yeary from Morgan Mill, Texas, was one of two bull riders to last eight seconds in the final round, along with 6X world champion Sage Kimzey. But it was Yeary, scoring 83.5 points on Cervi Championship Rodeo’s Rawhide, who took the National Western title, for the second consecutive year.

Yeary was ranked 8th in the PRCA ProRodeo world standings coming into the National Western, and this win will likely give him a boost. If the young bull rider continues at this pace, we will likely see him in December at his first Wrangler National Finals Rodeo.
