Brody Cress Dominates Texas Circuit Finals

Brody Cress dominated the Texas Circuit Finals after winning all three rounds of Saddle Bronc Riding, the average, and nearly $10,000 at the rodeo.

Cress opened the rodeo with an 87 point ride on New Star Pro Rodeo’s Papa Bear. Cress didn’t know much about the horse, but knew it was a good horse to get on.

In Round 2, Cress drew Cancun Moon and was marked 89 points.

“This is a horse that I was really looking forward to getting on. He had two outstanding trips to the NFR this year and I knew he was one to have in that pen. That was our eliminator pen. He’s not an easy one, but he is one where if you go out and do your job you are going to have a chance to win the round.”

Round three Cress drew the third-ranked horse in the PRCA, All or Nothin. It is a horse that Ryder Wright won the American on, and Cress took advantage. He was marked 90 points to win the round and lock in the average by 11 points.
