Brody Cress and Stetson Wright Tie to Win Semis on Outstanding Calgary Broncs

Night No. 1 of Semifinals in San Antonio was packed with star power in the saddle bronc riding. It was no surprise that Brody Cress and Stetson Wright tied to win the round with a pair of 85-point rides on Calgary Stampede broncs. Both cowboys added $4,500 to their earnings.

“That was a good start to the night for me… It’s a big strong horse of Calgary’s and I love getting on her,” Wright said about Y U R Frisky.

Cress drew Zatron Acres, a horse he had never been on before but he’s seen the horse compete before and he knew exactly what he to do to get the win.

“I know if you can get a good start and stay ahead of her it usually works out and I was lucky enough to do that,” Cress said.

After securing their place in the Finals on Saturday, Cress and Wright will be happily watching the Wildcard Round on the bucking chutes.

Moving on to the Finals with Cress and Wright will be Chase Brooks, Logan Hay and Kole Ashbacher.
