Breaking Down the Bull Riding Stock Headed to the 2022 NFR

The bull riders have their work cut out for them at the 2022 NFR with the stock being sent to the Thomas and Mack. Here is a breakdown of the top Bulls heading to Las Vegas this December.

Sankey Pro Rodeo’s Bouchon is one of the top bulls heading to the NFR. He was ridden just three out of 12 rides and averaged 86.17 points per ride. Stetson Wright rode him twice on back-to-back weekends. The first coming at the Magic Valley Stampede where he was marked 88 points. Wright and Bouchon had a rematch the following weekend at the Lewiston Roundup Xtreme Bulls, and for the second time, Wright got the better of the bull, being marked 88.5 points.

Let’s Gamble will be a sought-after draw after being marked for an average of 89 points during the regular season. The Stace Smith Pro Rodeo bull was ridden three out of six times, highlighted by a 91.50-point ride by Colton Kelly at the Dixie National Rodeo.

OLS Tubs Ugly Wish had a great 2022 season, being ridden just three out of 14 times, but when he was ridden, the scores were big. Ugly Wish took care of his side of things, averaging a stock score of 43.64. Gavin Michel was the high-marked cowboy on the bull with an 89-point ride at the Gooding Pro Rodeo.

The biggest name in bull riding stock will be heading to another NFR. Powder River Rodeo’s Chiseled is headed back to the Thomas and Mack and is a massive score waiting to happen. Chiseled and Stetson Wright matched up for one of the most memorable rides in recent NFR history as Wright was marked 94.50 points on the bull. Chiseled has yet to be ridden in 2022.
