Bracket 2 results at the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo
The second go-round of Bracket 2 is underway at the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo.
Under the new tournament-style format, the Top 2 money earners in each bracket of eight will advance to the semifinals in each event. Third place in each event will advance to a wild card round with a chance to make the semifinals from there.
Orin Larsen used rides of 88 and 89 to claim the top spot in Bracket 2 in Bareback Riding. Joining him in the semifinals is Jamie Howlett.
Howlett scored a 90.5 to win Round 1. He was also third in the second go-round.
Leighton Barry, who finished second in Round 2 with a ride of 87, advanced to the wild card round.
Jacob Talley finished in first place in Bracket 2. He finished second in both Steer Wrestling go-rounds with times of 5.6 seconds and 4.2 seconds respectively.
Round 2 winner Matt Reeves, who stopped the clock at 4.0 seconds, will join him in the semifinals. Tanner Brunner is headed to the wild card round.
Jackie Crawford won the second go-round with time of 2.1 seconds. She won Bracket 2 and will be joined by Martha Angelone in the semifinals.
Samantha Jorgenson, who won Round 1 with a time of 2.1 seconds, is the wild card from this bracket.

Mitch Pollock won the second go-round and the bracket thanks to an 88.5-point ride Sunday afternoon.
He’ll be joined in the semifinals by Allen Boore, the Round 1 winner. J
Jesse Kruse, who had an 88-point ride the second go-round this afternoon is the wild card.
2019 World Champion Haven Meged won winner Bracket 2 in tie-down roping.
He stopped the clock at 8.7 seconds to win in Round 2.
Sterling Smith is the other semifinalist and Tyson Durfey, the Round 1 winner, is the wild card.
Smith finished second in Round 2 and third in Round 1.
The pair of Kirchenschlager/Ashford lead the way in Bracket 2 in Team Roping.
Fuller/Ward are joining them in the semifinals.
Lisa Lockhart had the top spot in Barrel Racing in Bracket 2.
The 13-time NFR qualifier raced to the top spot in first round and also collected a check by taking fourth in the second go-round winner.
Round 2 winner Jill Wilson is the other semifinalist and Teri Bangart, who finished second in the second go-round is the wild card.
Canadian cowboy Jordan Hansen wowed the crowd with a 91-point ride in his first go on Saturday night and he followed that up with an 86 in the second go-round to claim the top spot in Bracket 2.
Joining him in the semifinals is Brady Portenier, who finished third with an 83 on Sunday afternoon.
Round 2 winner Elliot Jacoby is the wild card.
