Bobby Steiner Talks Growing Up in Rodeo

Bobby Steiner’s father and granddad got their start at Wild West Shows before eventually moving on to rodeo. His father called on big names to help elevate their show and those big names turned into family.

“I tell people when I was a kid of five of six, when I’d go back home and go to my kindergarten or first grade class I couldn’t believe that other people weren’t having dinner with Roy Rogers and Dale Evans and Gene Autry and people like that,” Steiner said.

He was surrounded by people who had huge careers and would go down in history but to Steiner, they were just normal people who helped put on their rodeos.
