Bob Tallman Looks Back at Working With Some of Rodeo’s Biggest Trailblazers and Heroes

In Bob Tallman’s legendary career this far, he has come across some of the Western industry’s most iconic people. From Dean Oliver, Woody Bell, Harry Charters, Harry Vold and more, Tallman knew them all.

From his start in the business, he was making connections with families that team rope to rodeo companies that would turn him into a fan of the bucking horse. He has always been surrounded by World Champions and he has witnessed historic moments that will never happen again.

“I watched the best and it just seems like they lured me, and I went with them. And I learned their stories and then I went and told them,” Tallman said.

Tallman is a 12-time PRCA Announcer of the Year, a member of the ProRodeo Hall of Fame and Texas Cowboy Hall of Fame and he was named the 2020 Legend of ProRodeo. Tallman is an unforgettable voice of rodeo.
