Here is a look at the highlights from the Bob Fiest Invitational from the Reno Open Championship.
It was Kolton Schmidt and Wyatt Cox who went 40.27 seconds on six head to win the $100,000 top prize.
After the win, Kolton Schmidt said, “It doesn’t matter if it’s the first or second BFI event of the year, or what they call it, it’s part of BFI tradition, we’re in Reno and it paid $50 grand a man... We roped against the best guys in the world today, and bear ‘em. That’s a big deal.”
Brenten Hall and Chase Tryan finished in second place, more than a full second behind Schmidt and Cox. For their second-place finish the team won $55,000.
