Ben Andersen Lands in the Money at San Angelo Rodeo Aboard Pete Carr Pro Rodeo’s Django

Ben Andersen’s 84.5-point ride on Pete Carr Pro Rodeo’s Django might not have started how one would prefer, but it worked out just right as it earned the Canadian bronc rider a spot among the Top 12 . He is set to return to the Finals with a chance at the title.

“He kind of was looking in when I nodded and Dawson Hay was like ‘Why did you nod there’ and I was ‘Well I don’t really know’. [Django] was definitely spring loaded to do it and he pushed out of there and I got him spurred out decent but he kind of brought and I had to roll right after it. It felt good, it was a good little horse,” Andersen said.

Andersen currently sits No. 5 in the PRCA World Standings and he attributes it to good draws and good riding. He added to his season earnings when the 84.5 put him in the money of the Long Round in San Angelo and he will be back for the Finals to keep rolling.
