Leighton Berry sits No. 1 in the World Standings after securing multiple big wins throughout the Texas Swing and is keeping the momentum going in San Angelo. He tied for the lead with an 87-point ride on Championship Pro Rodeo’s Rip on Saturday afternoon.
“He bucked hard, felt good coming around the fence and I’m lucky for my score,” Berry said.
Berry is currently joined by fellow NFR qualifiers Cole Reiner, Jess Pope and Clayton Biglow in a four-way tie for the top spot and will battle it out for the title in the Final Round of the San Angelo Stock Show and Rodeo on Friday night.
