Amy Wilson interviews Cole Reiner coming off his night one win in the bareback at the Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo, and he tells her about what bareback riders do to prepare for competition, both physically and mentally.
Recently for Reiner, who is gunning for the Bareback Rookie of the Year title this year, that meant getting a new rigging and a new glove after his performance at the National Western Stock Show & Rodeo in Denver.
“Things weren’t going really the way I wanted to, kind had some mindset problems,” Reiner says. “So I just started fresh, got all new equipment, and it really worked out tonight, so I think I’ll stick with this stuff for a while.
