Bareback Rider Clayton Biglow Wins Sixth California Rodeo in 2022 Season

Clayton Biglow feels right at home in his home state. In Santa Maria on Sunday, he was crowned the champion of a California rodeo for the sixth time in the 2022 season.

Biglow was 87 points on Flying U Rodeo’s Cat Caller to take the lead over Performance 1 winner Bronc Marriott on Saturday evening to give him a win at the Santa Maria Elks Rodeo for the second time.

“I liked (the ride), always could ride better, but we’re sitting first that’s all you can ask for,” he said. “It’s a great arena, you got Bob (Tallman) on the mic, can’t beat it.”

Biglow, the 2019 World Champion, is No. 2 in the PRCA Bareback Riding World Standings and added $2,572 for his win in Santa Maria.
