World Champion bareback rider Clayton Biglow is heading into his seventh consecutive National Finals Rodeo. He is ranked No. 13 in the PRCA World Standings with $109,819.

He goes into this year’s National Finals with nine rodeo wins in the regular season and a history of being great within the walls of the Thomas & Mack. With multiple round wins and 90+ point rides in Las Vegas, you can never count the California cowboy out of the running for another Gold Buckle.

BIGGEST PAYDAYS

Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo, $14,760

Early in the season, Biglow capitalized in Fort Worth. In Bracket 7, he captured second in Round 1 and fourth in Round 2 advancing him to the Wildcard Round. From there, it was an 88-point ride that moved him into the Semifinals before he moved on to the Finals. In the Final Round, an 89-point ride tied him for second.

HIGHEST MARKED RIDES

RodeoHouston, 90 points

In the Second Round of Super Series V, Biglow matched up with Calgary Stampede’s Twin Cherry to go for 90 points. This captured the round win and helped move him on to the Super Shootout. It also added $3,000 to his regular season earnings. Biglow totaled $5,000 in Houston.

Calgary Stampede, 90.5 points

In Pool A of the Greatest Outdoor Show on Earth, Biglow started it out the right way. A 90.5-point ride aboard Calgary Stampede’s Yipee Kibitz would earn him a round win and $5,500 that helped him cinch his spot in the Semifinals.

NOTABLE WINS

Southeastern Livestock Exposition, 88.5 Points

Biglow rode Painted Smoke for 88.5 points to outdo Cole Franks, Trenten Montero and Cole Reiner by two points. The win paid $3,737.

Santa Maria Elks Rodeo, 87 points

It would be an 87-point ride on Flying U Rodeo’s Cat Caller that would get Biglow a win as he looked towards the summer run. At the California rodeo he added over $2,500 to his season earnings and picked up steam going into the summer.

Lewiston Roundup, 86.5 points

As the season was less than a month away from wrapping up, Biglow cinched another win in Idaho. On Sankey Pro Rodeo and Phenom Genetics’ Great Nation, he took home the win by just half a point when every ride and every dollar mattered.
