The first event of the NFR kicks off tonight at the South Point with the National Finals Breakaway Roping.
The Top 15 breakaway ropers will compete for their share of $250,000 during the two-day, 10-round performance.
For the second year, the Wrangler National Finals Breakaway Roping will take place at the South Point.
Announcer Anthony Lucia joined Western Sports Roundup to break down all of the action set to take place.

Shelby Boisjoli currently leads the world standings with over $164,000 earned on the season. She holds a lead of nearly $20,000 over Hali Williams who is currently in second place.
