Allen Bach has won four team roping Gold Buckles in his life and is still very much involved in ProRodeo.
He loves to rope and win but he has also put on clinics and roping camps all over the world, including Israel. This newfound passion has lead to him thinking seven days a week about how he can teach people to rope better, which lead him to creating Smarty.
Bach says the goal was to create something that could slow everything down and allow for a lot of repetition.
It started 10 years ago and Bach’s family was with him for all of the growing pains of creating the now-famous green training machine. Today, it’s still going strong.
