A Look at Globe Life Field’s Facelift
Last week, Globe Life Field in Arlington begun undergoing the process of being turned from a baseball diamond to a rodeo arena.
Sean Decker, the Rangers Executive Vice President of Sports and Entertainment joined Amy Wilson to discuss the transition the building is making.
“We love the idea of having a rodeo here, never in our wildest dreams did we think we’d get the Super Bowl of rodeo in our first go-around,” he said. “We are over the moon.”
Decker said Globe Life Field was built with the idea to host events other than baseball and the Wrangler NFR will be the first non-baseball event ever at the venue.
