6X NFR Qualifier, Coleman Proctor, Caught up with Amy Wilson

Coleman Proctor roped in Bracket One of the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo.

The last time he was in Dickies Arena, he broke out to miss the opportunity to return for the Semifinals with his then partner, Ryan Motes. This year, Coleman is roping with Logan Medlin and the two qualified for the Wildcard Round.

Also making an appearance at Dickie’s Arena is Coleman’s horse, Heisman. In his time off between the National Finals Rodeo and now, Coleman’s horse has been getting pampered and staying in shape thanks to his team.

There are some new pairs of team ropers at the FWSSR and one of those teams is Colby Lovell and Matt Sherwood. We are used to seeing Sherwood on the head side, however, Coleman get attest to the benefits of roping on both sides.

“It makes you a better partner, whenever I understand what Logan’s going through over there a little bit, and how hard I can make his job at times, you get a full appreciation when you see it from both sides of the ball,” Coleman said.

Coleman and Medlin are up again in the Wildcard Round that will be Wednesday and you can catch it all on The Cowboy Channel and the Cowboy Channel + app.
