Kincade Henry is now a three-time National Finals Rodeo qualifier and he enters this year in the spot that he finished last year, as the No. 8 ranked cowboy in the World.

Henry has finished the last two seasons with over $200,000 in earnings and if he has a successful ten days in Las Vegas, that feat is easily within his reach once again.

San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo, $12,500

After a no time on his first run, Henry placed in Round 2 of Bracket 1 before winning Round 3 with a blazing 7.4 seconds to be the No. 3 tie-down roper to advance. In the Semifinals, his 8.3-second run put him in second place, and he carried that momentum into the Finals, finishing third with a run of 8.0 seconds.

Greeley Stampede, $11,993

Greeley marked one of Henry’s two wins this season and his only Playoff Series win. Round 1 in Colorado went exactly how Henry wanted when he clocked a 7.7 to get the win. His times in Round 2 and the Finals were 9.0 and 9.9 seconds respectively and his 26.6-second aggregate time was enough to win him the rodeo by less than a tenth over Jake Pratt and Ty Harris.

Dodge City Roundup Rodeo, $4,798

Henry got off to a good start in Dodge City by placing in Rounds 1 and 2 with times of 8.9 and 8.6 seconds. Despite not getting a check in the Finals, his 28.2 seconds on three was still enough for fifth in the Average, which paid more than $2,500.

Mountain Valley Stampede, $5,252

A win came Henry’s way by slim margins against tough competition in Utah. His 8.0-second run would only be two tenths of a second faster than Tuf Cooper and Matt Shiozawa to kick his August off on the right foot.

Caldwell Night Rodeo, $8,083

In Idaho, Henry started things with an 8 flat run to tie Haven Meged for the Round 1 win. He would add runs of 10.0 and 8.7 to finish with 26.7 seconds on three and second in the average. He also finished second in the Average at the Lea County PRCA Rodeo the weekend prior.

Cinch Playoffs Governor’s Cup, $11,861

In the final rodeo of the season, Henry got a hefty payday, a vast majority of it coming from a 7.7-second run to take second in Round 1.
