Braden Richardson took the lead in Hermiston after an 88.5-point ride on Corey and Lange Rodeo’s new bull Gold Rush.
“I saw him back there and I thought he was in a pen full of small bulls, but once he got in there he was all there. Felt really good, couldn’t ask for much better.”
After the eight seconds, Richardson showed a lot of emotion, something he doesn’t always do.
“I was really excited here tonight because we only have a month left to rodeo and I’m just trying to make my way up there.”
Richardson is currently 31st in the PRCA World Standings but is within striking distance of the Top 15.
