Rodeo Productions

How to submit your rodeo production to The Cowboy Channel’s Rodeo Relations Team.

Western Sports Redefined

While it can be very exciting to have “live” coverage of your event, The Cowboy Channel’s Rodeo Relations Team follows a specific process to ensure the success of every rodeo production event. On this page, you will find the production guidelines each rodeo and committee must meet to be considered by The Cowboy Channel.

The Cowboy Channel is the official network of ProRodeo and the first 24-hour television network completely dedicated to western sports and the western lifestyle.

Headquartered in the Fort Worth Stockyards, The Cowboy Channel features content focused on ProRodeo, bull riding, roping, reining, barrel racing, and other western sports genres, along with western fashion and music. The lineup also features a wide variety of “live” coverage from major western events showcasing the world’s toughest and most talented cowboys and cowgirls.

If you are lacking a production department at your rodeo, The Cowboy Channel has a full, traveling production trailer available upon further discussions. Otherwise, for your event to be approved for broadcast or streaming on The Cowboy Channel or The Cowboy Channel +, committees must complete several important steps. This includes a dedicated, direct link to internet speed, encoders, a graphics package, and a minimum of three cameras.

Production is one of the most crucial elements when broadcasting rodeos and western events, and we want to ensure you have the tools to accomplish that. We ask you to please do the following:

  1. Submit a rodeo submission form:

  2. Attend initial phone call set-up by The Cowboy Channel

  3. Send marketing assets and receive The Cowboy Channel/PRCA assets

This can seem like an overwhelming process, but we want you to know that The Cowboy Channel will work hand-in-hand with you each step along the way.
