Bull Rider Clayton Sellars Talks Making Moves in 2025 Season

Clayton Sellars’ late start to 2025 is not slowing him down.

Clayton Sellars has four National Finals Rodeo qualifications, and despite a late start to his 2025 season, he is gunning to make it five.

“Looking back, I’ve probably rodeo 50, 55% or so, it’s just, you know, a matter of placing and winning the right amount here and there, but I can tell you I’m on the move now, for sure,” Sellars said.

An injury after the NFR kept Sellars on the sidelines for the first half of the Texas Swing. When Houston rolled around, he was ready to go and he got back on his game in San Angelo.

“Speaking of fire though, there’s a lot of guys going down the road today and staying on. You know, it’s cool to see. It’s fun to show up and have everybody be at their best,” he said.

With the added motivation of his nine-month-old son, Sellars is adjusting to leaving more behind at home, but he turns it into a positive, as it makes his fire burn. He is the No. 11 ranked bull rider in the PRCA World Standings with the Summer Run right around the corner.
