Sterling Crawley Has the Target on His Back as He Sits No. 1 in Sikeston

Sterling Crawley and Cervi Brother’s Target Practice have set the bar for the saddle bronc riding at the Sikeston Jaycee Bootheel Rodeo in Missouri with 83.5 points.

Before Performance 1, Crawley watched videos from fellow competitors of the horse and knew that if he had kept going and did his job, it would all work out.

“I’ve seen that she was sure footed, figured there was just a little stumble in there, a little hitch, so you just keep doing your job and have confidence that they’re going to find their feet and their balance back and she did and picked up and finished the ride as good as she had started so I was pretty happy,” he said.

The Crawley brothers have a weekend packed with travel and rodeo and they have drawn a little bit of everything and a ride like tonight was a confidence booster going into the weekend.
