Will Lummus Takes Opening Round in Hermiston

Will Lummus has dominated in Hermiston, going 3.7 seconds in slack and following that up with a 4.0-second run last night in the performance.

Afterward, Lummus was quick to credit his horsepower.

“You got a good hazing horse and a good bulldogging horse it makes it easy.”

Lummus currently sits No. 2 in the world which is where he finished his season a year ago. Everything has been going right for Lummus both in and out of the arena.

“At this point yeah, it’s awesome. My wife and I are supposed to finish up a house here in the next couple of weeks. It’s a good year to have a good year.”
