The tie-down roping has stayed the same at the top through most of the summer. Shad Mayfield remains No. 1 and not far behind him his Caleb Smidt, meaning the last two World Champions are the Top 2.

The two biggest movers in recent weeks have been Cory Solomon and Taylor Santos. Both cowboys have moved up seven spots in the PRCA World Standings since July 6. Solomon has gone from on the bubble to comfortably in the Top 10 and Santos went from being $4,000 outside of an NFR spot to $6,000 worth of breathing room between him and No. 15.
