Bull Rider Chance Schott Moves Into No. 2 at the Greeley Stampede

Chance Schott was the only cowboy to cover his bull during the Monday night performance at the Greeley Stampede. He rode for 84.5 points on South Point Slammer.

“That bull really started blowing up there are the end when he jumped out of it and he felt, I just had to keep hustling because I knew if I fell a little bit behind, when a bull is blowing up like that they’re just going to catapult you forward and when I can kind of hear the crowd getting louder and louder, you know it just amps me up,” Schott said.

With a bull that felt his every move, South Point Slammer gave Schott all he had for eight seconds and Schott’s took a new approach to this ride that paid off. Instead of looking the bull up and making a game plan, he took the bull jump for jump and now he sits No. 2 at the Greeley Stampede.
