Jacob Talley is going into his fourth Wrangler National Finals Rodeo with a bigger lead than we’re used to seeing in the steer wrestling.
Talley got an early start to the season with some big wins. He made his first ever appearance at The American back in March where he took home $100,000 and he had good luck at the San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo as well.
The success he had at the beginning of the season made it so Talley could take it easy at the end of the season. He chose not to enter Puyallup or Salinas, giving himself and his horses a break before they start getting ready for the NFR.
Talley is headed back to the Thomas and Mack ranked No. 1 and he is focused on winning his first Gold Buckle.
