Western sports fans can now watch some of the greatest moments in bull riding history with “PBR 20/20” beginning Tuesday, August 8, 2017, at 7:00 PM ET. This new three-hour series will air the newly launched The Cowboy Channel, as part of the 20-year celebration commemorating PBR’s innovation and unprecedented growth since the 20 founders voted to form the organization and established professional bull riding as a standalone sport.

PBR 20/20: 2000’s Tampa & St. Louis

August 8, 2017 starts  at 7:00 PM ET

7:00 – 8:30 PM ET -  Tampa 2000 Second Performance: Chris Shivers rides Jim Jam for 96.5 points to tie the all-time PBR record Troy Dunn  91.5 on Promisland; Cory Turnbow was 90 on Slick Willy.

8:30 – 10:00 p.m. ET -  St. Louis 2001: Eleven rides with scores in the 90s; Gilbert Carrillo rides Perfect Storm for 96 points; Chris Shivers vs. Panhandle Slim and Diamond Cut each for 93.5 points; Ty Murray vs. Blueberry Wine for 93.5 points.

 

PBR 20/20: 1999’s World Championships & 1994’s Nashville Bullnanza

August 15, 2017 starts at 7:00 PM ET

7:00 – 8:30 PM ET -  1999 World Championships: Chris Shivers vs. Trick or Treat for 96 points; Terry Don West vs Promise Land for 96 points; Ty Murray vs Redwolf for 95 points; Jim Sharp vs Jim Jam for 94 points.

8:30 – 10:00 PM ET - 1994 Nashville Bullnanza: Ty Murray rides Gunslinger for 93 points.

 

PBR 20/20: 2000’s St. Louis Round 2 & 1996’ World Championships

August 22, 2017 starts at 7:00 PM ET

7:00 – 8:30 PM ET  -  St. Louis 2000 - 2nd round: Jim Sharp is 94 points on Locomotive Breath; Glen Keeley vs. Claytons Pet for 93.5 points.

8:30 – 10:00 PM ET -  1996 World Championship: A look back at the defining moments in Professional Bull Riders' history.

 

PBR 20/20: 2002’s Fort Worth 2002 & 1998’s Anaheim

August 29, 2017, at 7:00 PM ET

7:00 – 8:30 PM ET Fort Worth 2002: Ten 90-plus-point rides; Lee Akin vs Perfect Storm for 94.5 points; Jim Sharp vs. Promise Land for 94 points; Jim Sharp rides Dillinger for $85k bonus, and scores 95.5 points.

8:30 – 10:00 PM ET Anaheim 1998: Troy Dunn vs. White Water Skoal for 92.5 points; Brian Herman vs. Trick or Treat for 92.5 points.

Much of this reverential footage has gone unseen, even by the riders and contractors, since it originally aired. This is an opportunity for new fans and longtime supporters to celebrate the remarkable history of an extraordinary time in PBR's past.
