The National High School Finals Rodeo is this week in Gillette, Wyoming and includes thirteen rodeo performances (two go-rounds and a short-go). Contestants from 49 states and 3 countries are competing for a World Champion Title in 15 events— including rodeo events, cutting, reined cow horse, and two shooting sports.
This year, a total of 2,125 entries are competing in four different arenas and a shooting range. The performances began on Sunday, July 16 and will continue through Saturday, July 22. The first go-round of National High School Finals Rodeo will conclude after the sixth performance on Wednesday morning and the seventh performance Wednesday afternoon will begin the second go-round.
